Individual Training Part 4: Ball Protection

Previous post illustrates on how you can benefit from one-two passing movement on a futsal court. Today, we’ll learn on how you can control the ball while protecting it from an opponent.

 

Firstly, a player always uses his foot sole to shield a receiving ball.

Secondly, position your body as if like a wall to the opponent while controlling the ball.

Tip: The bigger the wall, the harder it is for the opponent to tackle the ball from you.
