The Benito Villamarin ground has four sections which are not very distinct. This is in line with the European style of football grounds. While the north, east, and west sections of the ground are able to possess three tiers of seating, the South stand only has a single tier. This would be the obvious feature of the ground, which does not have protection against the elements for the most part apart from a small section of the west stand.
What is it like for visiting supporters?
The southern section will be the place where away supporters are housed. Benito Villamarin provides a decent list of facilities for supporters who come to the ground. Since it is located in a key part of the Seville region, there are plenty of activities to do. The food bars and pubs are also in good numbers. For those trying to take a guided tour of the ground, it is also convenient that the ground of archrivals Sevilla is also quite close by.
The location of Benito Villamarin is very accessible by car, as it is just a few kilometres to the south of Seville. The stadium is connected to the centre through the Avenida la Palmera. For those striving to the ground, they have to look for the exit 8 on this road. This will directly lead them onto the stadium, which will be on the left side when going from Sevilla to the Avenida la Palmera.
The satnav address for the ground would be: Avda. de la Palmera s/n, 41012 Sevilla
The car park at the ground has space for 200 cars and it can be rented out by members travelling on match days.
By train or metro
The Real Betis Stadium can be reached via metro services. The Santa Justa metro station in Seville is located in a central position between this ground and the Estadio Ramón Sánchez. Thus, around 30 minutes of walk will be enough to get around to this ground. If this is a little too much, one can hop on to the several bus services that connect to the stadium. There are several bus stops along the Avenida la Palmera.
The price of tickets to watch Real Betis at the Benito Villamarin will range from €30-€60 depending on the location. The upper seats behind the goal are the cheapest while the central seats in the main grandstand will be the most expensive. The prices also tend to see an increase for the high-profile games.
The ticket can be bought at the stadium or online. Depending on the availability, the stadium will sell the tickets even on the day of the game. Real Betis have one of the highest attendance figures in the La Liga, but the large capacity of the stadium means that there will always be an opportunity to get tickets even on the day of the game. Still, it is recommended to buy in advance.
